Originally established by Bob Forbes and Jeff Summers in 1961, Forbes & Summers has been providing the highest quality automotive repairs to Girgarre, Stanhope, Kyabram, Timmering and the surrounding areas ever since.

F&S Exhaust Tools has been manufacturing tooling for the exhaust industry since 1988. Over 25 years of experience is what F&S brings to the table! Jeff Summers and Bob Forbes began a mechanical repair and engineering business in 1961 calling it Forbes & Summers, working on all things from mowers to earth moving machinery, Forbes & Summers was even once a Fiat Tractor dealer. Bob’s son Mark started working at Forbes & Summers over 30 years ago, and he took over the running of the business with his wife Michelle in 1990.

These days Mark Summers supplies tooling to distributors across Australia and New Zealand for all brands of hydraulic workshop benders. Besides the exhaust industry F&S Exhaust Tools has supplied machinery and tooling to companies including Blue Scope Steel, General Motors Holden, Holden Special Vehicles, Fleetguard Australia, Hardy Wines, Aero Manufacturing, and industries such as bull bar manufacture, playground equipment and steel structure manufacturers. 

F&S Exhaust Tools specialises in tube benders and tooling, choosing Blue Boy as its tube bending machine of preference. A wide range of spare parts for Blue Boy as well as other makes of benders are kept in stock.

As a family business with over 50 years of history, we take great pride in our quality of workmanship and customer service. Mark is a qualified fitter and turner by trade, having completed his apprenticeship at the ordnance factory in Bendigo. Mark has over 30 years of experience and is authorised to work on light, heavy and LPG vehicles. His son Wade also works in the business and is a cert 3 qualified mechanic. Mark and Wade work alongside Michelle Forbes and Marj Summers.
